But there are lots of other ways you could be beefing up your points balances. In fact, the simple step of linking your rewards accounts to several popular apps can give you a steady trickle of extra points without any extra spending! Why would anyone want to leave all of those free points on the table?
Here are some accounts you should be linking to earn extra with these popular programs:
Delta Air Lines SkyMiles - Uber: Earn 1 to 3 miles per dollar spent, depending on the type of ride or Uber Eats order.
- Hertz: Book directly with Hertz, on delta.com/cars or through the Travel with Delta portal and earn 4 to 8 miles per dollar spent, depending on your Delta status.
- Starbucks: Earn miles when you load at least $25 into your account.
Marriott Bonvoy - Uber: Earn 1 to 3 points per dollar spent, depending on the type of ride or Uber Eats order.
- Starbucks: Earn 100 points when you make three qualifying purchases at Starbucks during Marriott Bonvoy Week.
Bilt Rewards - Lyft: Earn 2 to 5 points per dollar spent, depending on the type of ride and whether you use your Bilt Mastercard® to pay for it. (Just remember you have to use your Bilt Mastercard at least five times each statement period to earn points with it.)
Hilton Honors - Lyft: Earn 2 to 3 points per dollar spent, depending on the type of ride (on up to $10,000 of eligible Lyft spending per calendar year).
Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan - Lyft: Earn 1 mile per dollar spent on Lyft rides in the U.S.
