| | Let's face it: Playing the points and miles game can be a lot to keep up with on top of everything else we have going on.
While a lot of us here at TPG live and breathe this stuff, it's fair to say that the bonus points, credits and perks on all the different cards out there can be dizzying at times.
If you're someone who just wants to earn a lot of points and get some travel perks — and then not think much more about it — one of the best cards you should consider is the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card.
There's no need to worry about whether it's a grocery purchase or a gas station card swipe. You'll earn 2 miles per dollar spent on everyday purchases.
This card also doesn't offer the "coupon book," of sorts, that we've seen on some other high-end travel cards — "$50 here per quarter, $25 there per month," etc. Not with this one.
And in lieu of those perks, you get a more modest annual fee of $395.
What else should you know? - You can transfer your Capital One miles to a bunch of different global airlines that can get you flights to Europe, Asia, Australia and beyond (on top of domestic U.S. flights).
- Right now, new Venture X cardholders can earn 75,000 bonus miles after spending $4,000 or more on purchases in the first three months from account opening — a welcome offer TPG values at nearly $1,400.
