|  | If you're anything like me, October flew by and you're wondering how we can already be in the last two months of the year. Ready or not, the holiday season is upon us — along with the prime shopping season.
Personally, my favorite holiday shopping strategy is to open a new credit card and let the extra spending help me earn a juicy welcome bonus (hello, tropical vacation!). If you're looking to do the same, here are our favorite offers to take advantage of this month:
🏖 Best for travel lovers - The Citi Strata Elite℠ Card is Citi's newest premium card offering. It made a splash when it launched this fall, and right now it's offering new cardholders the chance to earn 100,000 bonus points after spending $6,000 in the first three months from account opening.
- The American Express Platinum Card® recently got a major refresh — complete with an even more valuable list of benefits and statement credits. Apply to find out your offer and see if you're eligible for as high as 175,000 Membership Rewards points after spending $8,000 within the first six months of card membership. Just remember, welcome offers vary, and you may not be eligible for an offer.
- The Citi® / AAdvantage® Globe™ Mastercard® is another new card on the block. Right now, you can take AAdvantage (get it?) of its launch offer and earn 90,000 AAdvantage miles after spending $5,000 in the first four months from account opening.
💼 Best for business spenders - The new Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business℠ is still turning heads with its unprecedented offer letting you earn 200,000 bonus points after $30,000 in spending in the first six months from account opening — worth a staggering $4,100 by our October 2025 valuations.
- The Business Platinum Card® from American Express also got a major refresh recently, adding some exciting benefits and credits for your business. New applicants can earn 200,000 Membership Rewards points after spending $20,000 in the first three months of card membership — a bonus worth a whopping $4,000 according to TPG's October 2025 valuations.
💳 Best all-around rewards - The American Express® Gold Card earns an impressive 4 points per dollar spent at U.S. supermarkets* and 4 points per dollar spent at restaurants worldwide**. Apply to find out your offer and see if you are eligible for as high as 100,000 Membership Rewards points after spending $6,000 on eligible purchases in your first six months of card membership. Welcome offers vary, and you may not be eligible for an offer.
- The Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card is still letting new applicants earn an elevated offer of 75,000 bonus points after spending $5,000 in the first three months from account opening. That's an impressive 15,000 points higher than its previous offer.
But don't sleep on these offers if you have your eye on one, because we don't know how long they'll be around.
